Spring break in florida help!!!!?

In your opinion, what is a cool place to vacation for spring break. Im going with my mom,and best friend, and we want to make time for going to the beach, going shopping, and some sort of amusement park. We dont want any of the boring botanical garden places, or the "diving with the dolphins" or the underground sea museum stuff... we want ACTION like Busche Gardens, and a cool city to visit for site seeing at nightime, and right on the beach.

any suggestions?????

Spring break in florida help!!!!?
Tampa has everything you are thinking of.....
Reply:Try the Don CeSar in St. Petersburg. I think they even have shopping excursion getaways. They can also help you get tickets to Busch Gardens. Ybor City is a great place to see and has an exciting night life.
Reply:Do Orlando and then Islands of Adventure at Universal. It has awesome roller coasters and rides... spiderman is NOT to be missed. And when you are finished in the park, you can eat and party at Universal City Walk where they have tons of clubs, bars, and places to eat all within walking distance. I live here in Orlando, and Islands of Adventure is my favorite theme park by far. I recommend staying at the La Quinta off of Universal Blvd. They have good prices, are newer and clean, and it's close to both Universal and I-drive.. another good night spot. They are also easy to get in and out of since it's not right off of I-drive.. but still within walking distance of it.

If you do happen to go to IOA (islands of adventure).. then places to eat that I would recommend would be Bahamma Breeze, Texas de Brazil, Kobe Japanese Steak House, and Cafe Tu Tu Tango which are all off of I-drive, and then the Hard Rock Cafe which is at City Walk at Universal. Hope you guys have a blast if you go there! I'm sure you will :D.

The only down about Orlando is that they have no beach, BUT there are some water parks and stuff and also it is close to both the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, so you can make trips to both of them while you are here. Or stay a few days in Orlando and then a few in Tampa so you can do both IOA and Bushe Gardens plus the beach! If you go to Tampa, you MUST go to the Columbia in Ybor City... no place like it!!! Make sure it is the one in Ybor though, since it is the original and largest one (takes up a whole city block!).
Reply:MIAMI
Reply:Miami, orlando (cool parks), key west, St. Petersburg Clearwater, Daytona. Have fun!!
