What Wedding Color Combination Goes Best?

Our wedding is April of next year in the Botanical Gardens of Fort Worth, TX.

We have decided that our base color will be honeydew green; however I have not decided the color combination that will go best with that green. I have considered soft yellows, different ranges of pink, and purple. If you have any suggestions please be specific in colors and if you have a link, that would be great!

What Wedding Color Combination Goes Best?
First, consider this: in the sunlight all the dresses will look much lighter than they will indoors. So a medium pink will look very pale pink; a nice yellow will look ivory, etc.

I would choose some bright colors, at least as accents to the green already chosen. If the bridesmaids' dresses will be the honeydew, then choose very bright flowers for them and for you. Ask the mothers, aunts, %26amp; sisters to wear brights, too.

This will really look better in pictures!
Reply:I actually see a really strong pink going well with a honeydew green... Like gerbera daisy pink.
Reply:A dusty rose would look dreamy. You could add the colors you have thought about as accents in

bouquets, table decorations,etc. Kind of like a rainbow. You could also use antique white with a

hint of rose.
Reply:For a very pretty spring combo, go with the green, a soft yellow, light pink, and lilac. It would be just lovely.

For our July wedding, we had yellow, pink, lilac, and light teal. Fun to decorate with! The attendants had dresses which were a print on white in those colours, little watercoloured-like flowers, so that's where the colour combo came from for us. Then each pair of attendants had a 'colour' - so the pink bridesmaid had a wreath of pink flowers in her hair, and pink ribbons trailing from her bouquet; her corresponding groomsman had a pink bowtie and cummerbund, grey suits. We did that in all the four colours, and it looked SO beautiful!

Consider even having a girl in each colour of dress - I've seen that before with light pink, soft yellow, and mauve.
Reply:with that green i like a very soft pink like almost powder pink..
Reply:Both light periwinkle blue and lavender complement that shade of green nicely
Reply:pinks, purples and greens make truly beautiful bouquets. I worked in a florist for 2 years, and that was my fave color combination! some yellow would look great paired with those shades, but I just adored the green, pink and purple thing....get paint chips and pair them up and see how it comes together! I really think you are on the right track!
Reply:I think chocolate brown would be divine with that color..
Reply:What about a soft ivory or taupe and a very pale shade of melon?
Reply:red and green.

red=happy

green=safe

*best answer* choosed by myself
Reply:my sister-in-law used a light green for her and my brothers wedding..

us bridesmaids wore green dresses and we carried down pink calla lillies.. all different shades.. it looked beautiful
Reply:I would go with a light shade of blue or maybe even a yellow. good luck
Reply:Actually, it sounds like everything you've thought of would work very well. Perhaps you should talk to the Gardens and find out what will be blooming there when your wedding takes place. If your colors coordinate with their flowers, you get free decorations!
Reply:Dark pink and brown with the honeydew green
Reply:I would do cream with that. Nothing too bright and colorful. Have you stand out more. and the beautiful flowers. then also for pictures it's simple elegant and timeless.
Reply:Pink and green is really pretty. here are some pictures;

Reply:I'd pair it up with a light lavender color it would look soo beautiful!
Reply:I love honeydew, but personally for an outside wedding, I would pick the a different color as the main color and use the honeydew as an accent. I love coral and think it would be pretty with honeydew.
Reply:I really like the pink quiet_hands suggested. It'd look lovely. Also the gardens are gorgeous in the spring! That's where my husband and I got married in June.
