Are there any beautiful gardens in Honolulu open to the public besides the Botanical Gardens (which are fab!)?

There's the Lyon Aboretum, with guided tours that are led by volunteers. It's really pretty, and I think it's free, too, but you need to schedule your tour ahead of time. If you google Hawaii/arboretum it comes up. Good Luck, and have a great time!!

Moanalua Gardens. Hitachi (Japan) just negotiated w/the owner to use this huge Monkey Pod tree as the Hitachi logo! Hitachi is paying the owner $400,000 a year for a contract of 10 years! How is that for insane?

It's a really nice place.
Reply:Try going to the Byodo In temple.
Reply:the Dole Plantations have some pretty gardens...we toured them while we were on Oahu. I would recommend them...
