What sections of BOTANICAL GARDENS[NYC] would you recommend seeing 1st??

I'll be going w/a friend shortly, and being that the gardens are sum 250+ acres, I NEED to know which one's are the most fascinating to see for a full day there! lol~that's a lotta area to cover, anyway, one garden I have to browse thru is the rose garden


what else though, would you recommend?

Definitely check out the conservatory (the large green house) the rose garden is just outside the conservatory. Take a walk over to the snuff mill and see the waterfall, stroll thru the oldest hemlock forest For lunch or dinner after seeing the gardens go over to arthur ave for some good italian food
Reply:Which Botanical Gardens? The largest is in the Bronx, but Brooklyn has a large one near Prospect Park, and Staten Island has one at Snug Harbor, where the rose collection is beginning to bloom wildly.
