In the Amber Spyglass it says that Lyra and Will sit on the exact same bench at the same time. what effect does it have on them do they visit each other? I wish they were together.
Lyra's bench at the botanical gardens?
I can't imagine how they feel as they sit there, year after year, knowing that that's as close as they will ever be to one another.
I'm sure that they get married and have children and I can't help but wonder if they tell their future spouses about the great love that they had to sacrifice.
I can't imagine being forced to walk away from a love so true.
